A band in its simplest form is a single piece of metal wrapped around the finger. There are many designs for bands that can range from plain metal to multiple inset gemstones.

Many plain band rings, especially men’s rings, will have a comfort fit design. Comfort fit rings have a smooth curve on the inside of the band to make the ring more comfortable to wear.
